Job Description

Looking for an energetic, hard-working individual to join our firm in an admistrative capacity. Responsibilities include:

 

  • Greeting and assisting clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, inquiries, directing them to the appropriate individual
  • Assist in organizing appointments and maintaining calendars
  • perform data entry, filing and document organizational tasks
  • Invoicing and accounts receivable
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Completing office runs including court house, hand deliveries and banking
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized office environment
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is a plus
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
  • Experience as an administrative and/or legal assistant
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with legal software including PCLaw a plus
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities

 

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $14.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
